Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of nosaieuxjewels.com (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from Nos Aïeux Jewels [LLC — please confirm form] (“Nos Aïeux,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Pieces & pricing

We aim to describe our pieces and their materials accurately, but fine jewelry is hand-made and minor variations in finish, stone placement, and colour are inherent to the craft and are not defects. Photographs may differ slightly from the delivered piece due to lighting and screen calibration.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise and may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing or descriptive errors and to cancel any order placed against an obviously incorrect price, with a full refund where applicable.

Orders, dispatch & final sale

Order, dispatch, and shipping terms are described on our Orders & Shipping page. In summary: in-stock pieces dispatch within 48 hours via FedEx Next Day Air; made-to-order pieces require approximately 8–10 weeks of atelier time.

All purchases made on nosaieuxjewels.com are final. Because each piece is either personally selected or made to order, we do not accept returns or offer refunds once an order has been dispatched. This includes bespoke commissions and orders involving heirloom stones, which are made specifically for you and are not subject to statutory cooling-off rights for distance purchases of custom-made goods.

If your piece arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, our craftsmanship warranty applies.

Sizing

Rings are sized to your specification at the time of order. We cannot alter ring size after dispatch without an additional re-sizing fee, and certain settings or full eternity bands cannot be re-sized at all. Please confirm your size carefully — we are happy to help.

Risk of loss & international duties

Risk of loss and title to your piece pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We strongly recommend signature-required shipping for all orders. For international orders, duties and taxes levied by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient.

Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including imagery, copy, designs, emblems, and the “Nos Aïeux” name — is the property of Nos Aïeux or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and related laws. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or use any of it for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site — including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, uploading harmful content, scraping at a scale that burdens our infrastructure, or using it for unlawful purposes.

Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as expressly set out in our Craftsmanship Warranty. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may hold under applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nos Aïeux is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Site or any piece purchased through it. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a piece will not exceed the amount you paid for that piece.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Nos Aïeux harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE OF OPERATION — please fill in], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
